Dear, Friends

Yesterday, we fought alongside more than 900 members from 40 different organizations within the People’s Action Network. We participated in a kick-ass day of direct action aimed at multiple targets across the Washington, D.C., area. Our targets were people and corporations profiting from our community’s pain, driving crises of climate change, implementing rent hikes, and influencing healthcare cost inflations.

In addition to our direct action with our comrades, we had the privilege of engaging in meaningful conversations with Senator Fetterman and Senator Casey’s offices. We discussed the importance of taking the Whole Home Repairs program to the federal level, ensuring every individual and family has access to safe and affordable housing. This initiative has the potential to transform lives and uplift communities across the country, and we love to see it!

The People’s Action Organizing Revival Conference was an extraordinary gathering filled with passion, perseverance, and solidarity. It reminded us of the power we possess when we come together as a united force for justice. But we can’t stop there. We must continue dismantling oppressive systems and advocate for fair and accessible people-first policies that work for ALL OF US.

Know someone who would love to get involved? Tell them to become a member and join PA Stands Up or one of our chapters!

Cheers!
