Our plan in 2025 and 2026 is simple:
Blocking their authoritarian agenda and continuing to build the power working people need to win.
PA Stands Up’s six counties cover 30% of the State Senate and 17% of the State House. That means we’ve got real power here — and real responsibility to use it.
Grounding our organizing in the leadership and agency of working people.
By developing leaders, running campaigns, and fighting for policies that actually meet people’s needs, we’re working to build a Pennsylvania that works for all of us.
Building the systems we need to protect each other.
That means working closely with our leaders to create infrastructure that can respond to urgent needs, especially for our unhoused and housing-insecure neighbors, while using key moments to bring more people into the fight.
We know that fear won’t keep us safe.
What will keep us safe is moving people from despair and apathy into anger, hope, and action.
Holding tight to our vision.
This administration and its billionaire backers want to distract us, divide us, and wear us down. We’re not giving in to panic or hopelessness. We’re choosing radical hope, staying grounded in each other and building the power we need to create a Pennsylvania that works for all of us.
“I was just one person, and I didn’t know what else to do. That’s when I reached out to Berks Stands Up, and had a conversation that changed my life. Knowing that I have somewhere to get plugged into where I can be an active part of change and seeing a shared vision keeps me going.”
~Xiomara, Statewide Housing Team, Berks Stands Up
