Political Director

Pennsylvania Stands Up is hiring a Political Director to develop and implement our political strategy to take on an entrenched system and revitalize our democracy. This person will be part of the organization’s senior leadership and work closely with external partners including candidates, electeds, grassroots organizations, labor and other stakeholders. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing electoral, issue, and/or base building campaigns, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a sophisticated analysis of the current political landscape. This is a position of political leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment; the work will require travel (when COVID safe), weeknight, and weekend hours. The position will ideally be based anywhere in our geographic footprint (eastern PA), but remote work is possible. This position will be directly supervised by PA Stand Up’s Executive Director.

Lead Digital Organizer and Fundraiser

The Lead Digital Organizer and Fundraiser works with the Director of Communications and Narrative to craft and execute our digital organizing and fundraising program across platforms including email, social media, paid digital ads, SMS and web. This is a political leadership position, requiring strategic thinking, tactical execution of digital organizing and fundraising best practices and an organizing approach to working with members and other staff. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to and ability to convey our organizational mission, values, objectives, and worldview and a demonstrated track record of designing impactful digital campaigns, growing lists, and raising small-dollar funds. They will also demonstrate an ability to achieve results in a fast-paced and dynamic campaigning environment, while balancing short- and long-term organizational priorities.

Finance Director

Pennsylvania Stands Up seeks a Finance Director to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting of our four organizational entities: PA Stands Up, PA Stands Up Institute, PA Stands Up State PAC and PA Stands Up Political Action. Our budget and organizing capacity have grown to $2.5M annually, and we currently have over 20 employees. We anticipate further growth in 2021 and desire a Finance Director to be comfortable creating systems that can scale as our movement does. The ideal Finance Director has experience with managing accounting and bookkeeping within 501(c) non profits, and state and federal level political action committees. The Finance Director will orient their work to allow for our movement to expand at a fast and sustainable rate across all program areas.

Deputy Campaign Director

PA Stands Up seeks a Deputy Campaign Director to drive the development and implementation of a statewide issue campaign strategy that aims for long-term structural reform, and that builds the statewide power infrastructure -- both internally with our local chapters, and externally through our statewide issue partnerships. This position is a critical part of the Organizing Department, and reports directly to the Organizing Director/Deputy Executive Director.
