Oliver Reilly (he/him) is a queer, trans man from Allentown who is passionate about gender, racial, economic, and disability justice. He is currently the Development Director at the National Center for Transgender Equality, where he develops and manages the implementation of fundraising strategies that power the organization’s trans-led organizing, advocacy, and policy change initiatives. Previously, Oliver has worked for the National Network of Abortion Funds, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, and as an adjunct Writing and Composition instructor at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Additionally, Oliver was the Fundraising and Marketing Director for Ce-Ce Gerlach’s 2021 Allentown mayoral campaign.
Oliver believes fundraising is a form of political activism that helps resource movements and volunteers his personal time with grassroots LGBTQ+ and racial justice organizations, including as a board member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Trans Equity Project. Oliver graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Education and Wilkes University with an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. He is a Taurus sun/Gemini rising/Capricorn moon that enjoys DIY home projects, spending time with his wife and clowder of cats, and playing music.
