Last year, thanks to the tireless organizing from members like you, legislators on both sides of the aisle committed to taking action to address our state’s ongoing housing crisis. Together we won $125 million to create the Whole-Home Repairs, marking the most significant investment in housing legislation in recent history.
Throughout Pennsylvania, local counties will receive funding from the Whole-Home Repairs Program to address home safety concerns and provide measures to improve energy or water usage efficiencies.
Although this is a huge win, we still have a long way to go. Everyone deserves a home that is safe, healthy, and dignified. We are asking Governor Shapiro to fully fund the Whole-Home Repair program permanently and to invest in our communities to correct decades of systemic disinvestment.
