News You Can Use - Get Out The Vote Edition

November 7, 2022

News You Can Use the week of November 7!

First of all, if you've voted: thank you. Throughout our history, people have fought and even died for the freedom to vote and we so we don't take it lightly.

We're sending this week's News You Can Use early because there are still SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES to ensure your neighbors vote, too.

If you can take another shift today or tomorrow, please sign up. Our freedoms are on the line — and like all elections, who turns out to vote will be essential. It's up to us to ensure that people make their voices heard at the ballot box — and to ensure that our election officials count every vote once it's sent in.

If you haven't voted or returned your ballot yet, please make a plan to do so. You can find more information about polling locations, hours, and how to complete your mail-in ballot here. One quick flag: it's very important that you sign and date your ballot. If you think you may not have signed or dated your ballot — or even if you're just one of those people who sometimes leaves the iron on and forgets about it when you go into the next room — you can complete a provisional ballot to ensure your voice is heard.

Finally, know that whatever happens tomorrow, we'll be here. We're holding a virtual event to talk about the election and the path forward on Nov 15th and we hope you'll join us.

In solidarity,
