News You Can Use – No Backroom Deals In 2024

Hi, friends!

Happy New Year, and welcome to the first News You Can Use of 2024! We hope you had a restful and rejuvenating winter break because we’re back and ready to build more people power this year!  

It’s no secret that 2024 is going to be a huge year in American politics. Here in Pennsylvania, we have many offices up for election.  We’ll be voting for the US Senate, US House, State Senate, State House, PA Attorney General, Auditor General, Treasurer, and, of course, President!

Word on the street is that billionaires like Jeffrey Yass are breaking open their piggy banks and counting their loose change to back the most heinous and hateful politicians Pennsylvania has to offer without even batting an eyelash. This is why we are committed to building a working-class democracy across race, place, and generation that works for ALL of us in Pennsylvania!

The ultra-wealthy may be trying to track mud all over the clean floors of democracy, but we are saying NO to backroom deals in 2024! Are you ready to mop up their muck by electing progressive candidates?

It’s time for us to shape our local, state, and federal government so it works for ALL Pennsylvanians, not just the obscenely wealthy. This year, we aim to drop kick big money out of politics and return the power to the people! 

Join us to create a fair and just democracy! Together, we can make a difference and ensure that our government works for everyone.

Let’s make 2024 the year of change and progress. We can do this!
