Hi, Friends!
This week, we honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King spoke out against the inequalities perpetuated by capitalism, which “gives luxuries to the classes and takes necessities from the masses.” He also embodied an unending commitment to building a beloved community
It’s up to us to prioritize funding for housing, clean air and water, green jobs, and fair wages rather than for war and tax cuts and bailouts for the wealthy.
Dr. King was a leader, a strategist, an organizer, an advisor, and a visionary. Let us continue his moral revolution and strive for a world without violence, poverty, and oppression.
We know there’s so much happening in the world right now, and none of us know what will happen in November. What we do know is that one vote matters — and that it’s up to us to elect leaders who will fight for our families and communities.
Join us in this important mission, friend, and let’s get our communities the resources they need to thrive!
In solidarity,
— Eddie
