PA Stands Up is looking for summer fellows from June 3 through August 29 who will help coordinate and manage our ever-growing base of members and volunteers. Fellows will learn valuable community organizing skills, such as door-to-door canvassing, messaging, basebuilding, graphic design, issue campaigning, and more.
PA Stands Up is founded on a commitment to the common good. We are dedicated to economic, social, racial, and gender justice. We want to build a Pennsylvania that works for all of us, regardless of race, creed, gender identity, etc. To read more about our story and ongoing efforts, visit our website at PAStandsUp.org.
Our goal with this program is to provide leaders with an opportunity they cannot get anywhere else. Being a PA Stands Up fellow means gaining experience, skills, and connections to help you become a lifelong leader in your community and/or career. Listed below are the available positions.
Fellows will receive a stipend of $250 a week for the length of the 12 week fellowship (June 3-August 29), with the expectation of working 15/20 hours per week.

A NOTE TO THE NEW AMERICAN MAJORITY
Studies have shown that women, nonbinary folks, and people of color are less likely to apply for opportunities unless they believe they meet every single one of the qualifications as described in a description. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization and we are most interested in finding the best candidate for the position. That candidate may be one who comes from a background less traditional to our field of work, and that’s okay. We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t believe you meet every one of the qualifications described.
