When state legislators tell us there’s no money for our kids or our buses or to see our doctors, we know why: billionaire Jeff Yass has funded them, and they’re bending to his will. We’re tired of politicians in Harrisburg pretending that funding cuts for transit, housing, healthcare, or education are the only way forward.

On Monday, we joined with over 150 Pennsylvanians in our All Eyes On Yass coalition to lead lobby visits and hold a disruptive action inside the Capitol spotlighting an alternative path for PA: if our elected officials are willing to stand up to the billionaire agenda, we can raise billions in new, recurring revenue by taxing excess wealth and ending corporate and billionaire giveaways.

“Senate Republicans are threatening to cut the very programs that my mother relied on to survive domestic abuse.” said Angel Ramon of Scranton with NEPA Stands Up. “We won’t abandon women, children, or anyone in need just so billionaires can pay less in taxes.”

This action was a brave first for many of our members, and it’s had a lasting impact. We made waves in the news and in articles across PA, and many of our elected officials heard our message!
