Our movement has been successful in electing our leaders over the last five years and now we have an unorganized bloc of elected officials in Harrisburg and across our municipalities.
It is not enough to simply elect new leaders, we must support the leaders we send into public office and work with them to build our power in the halls of government. Our work with Senator Saval on his signature “Whole Home Repairs” legislation proves the concept that the people we elect can work with our organizations to pass real impactful legislation. We intend to continue that work with Senator Saval and our other elected officials to deliver for our communities.
